About Us
Austraining WA was founded by Angela McGuinness to deliver practical, industry-grounded vocational training to secondary students and adult learners in Perth. We specialise in business and financial services training, with a focus on preparing students for real employment rather than just qualification completion.
Austraining (WA) aims to deliver high quality training that is accessible, affordable and relevant to today’s fast changing business environment. It is our objective to deliver training programs and courses that will reflect the highest standard of knowledge and skills for our graduates allowing them the opportunity to progress further in their career.
We deliver across 18 partner schools in the Perth metropolitan area and work closely with The BAS Agency, an active bookkeeping and business consultancy. This connection keeps our delivery grounded in what businesses actually need from their staff.

Angela McGuinness
Angela McGuinness is the Director of Austraining WA and lead trainer for BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business. She also runs The BAS Agency, a working bookkeeping consultancy with over 40 active clients. Her day-to-day business involvement is what keeps delivery current — students learn from someone who is actively doing the work they're being trained for.
